Scenery is beautiful. However the town should use this nature opportunity as more of a showcase. Although trails and picnic areas exist, a little upkeep on historical plaques, picnic tables, benches etc. Would be well received I'm sure.
Nice park to eat lunch at or take your kids...dock for swimming..and nice water falls to look at
Sadly, the 2018 Canada Day fireworks were a bit of a let down from previous awesome displays. 20 minutes late starting with a 15 minute laser light show that was... well, kind of lame. The fireworks they did have were spectacular but shortened to 20 minutes from the usual 35. And I could do without the music that you could only hear during lulls in the fireworks.
Quiet and breathtaking. Nice park for the kids as well.
A quick stop for a jump in the river. Refreshing after some short hike adventures.
