Great very traditional steak and seafood restaurant. Very 1970's style interior and the food and service are likely as consistent as the decor, which is a good thing! I told Steve, the owner that this is my new favorite restaurant even though this was my first visit. Fair prices and well prepared food, what else do you need?We have been back since and we still call it our favorite steak house and local fine dining restaurant. We will be back forsure!
I've been coming here for 30 years. The food and service are top notch. This is a slower paced, semi upscale, old fashioned restaurant and that should be what is expected should you choose to dine here. There is no better place in town for Surf and Turf and Steve (the owner) will often take a break from the kitchen or other management duties to see how your table is doing. He will also often come out for meals ordered via the flambe wagon portion of the menu. An order from that section includes a bit of a show for you but I won't spoil it. You'll have to come see it for yourself. You won't regret it.
Great place. Love the old atmosphere and the pleasant service. Ordered the prime rib and it was massive and delicious, simple veggies and a baked potato for the side were a nice complement to the main. We ordered a seafood platter app and it seemed a little small but after seeing the size of the main course I was glad i didn't fill up before hand.
The food was amazing! You can tell clean food when you taste it. It is healthy, delicious, and cozy. The theme is medival theme which I was surprised by and loved. I just wish they had more dish options. But overall would highly recommend.
Away for an over night with my family and 2 kids we were excited for a nice juicy steak and seafood dinner. From the minute we walked in the door the server said "Hi did you read the menu at the door" as in could we afford it? Or perhaps as in, this is not a kids restaurant? At that point we decided to still come in and sit down. They sat us down, never offered me a high chair for my 1 year old. It wasn't until 20 minutes later when the server said oh she better sit on her bum, and I joked, don't worry we wont sue if she falls....then 1 minute later out of no where a high chair was brought over. Let me tell you the food was really delicious. That was not an issue. My kids were also very well behaved....not our server but the woman who I believe to be the owner was nothing short of miserable....rolling her eyes as we took time to order...She was annoyed from the get go when she saw us walk in with our kids. The cherry on the top was when it came to pay and my husband and brother in law were splitting the bill and asked to make 2 transactions. She was annoyed even more and basically through the split bill on the table. Although the food was delicious she made me feel uncomfortable and a noucense for bothering her restaurant atmosphere with my familys presence. I'd take crappy food with great customer service over this snooty restaurant anyday.
